VISCOSE PRODUCTS

Viscose is considered the most natural material among synthetic products, as it is mainly obtained by mixing vegetable cellulose with chemical compounds.

Not a natural fiber, nor a synthetic fiber, as many say, but a textile fiber, capable of using a part of raw material of natural origin and a part of synthetic chemicals, through some specific chemical processes.

The cellulose used is obtained in the form of pulp in a liquid state, from a wood of fast-growing trees. With the addition of chemicals, the pulp turns into a dense mass, with a consistency similar to that of honey, precisely viscous. To create the threads, the mass is pressed through nozzles, using a special spinning process. The different thickness of the yarns (diameter, to which each specific " count " will correspond) is determined by the size of the nozzles.

The birth of viscose dates back to the early 1900s, with the need to find a fiber as soft as silk, but much cheaper than it. Initially it is stated with the name of " Rayon " or " vegetable silk ", but later it takes on many names, depending on the raw material used.

Viscose is soft and luminous and is in fact similar to silk (but also to other artificial or synthetic fabrics) and for this reason it is difficult to recognize it simply by resorting to touch. It is a highly breathable material, which gives a touch of freshness to the body (especially in hot periods) and for this reason it is very pleasant, but it is also extremely resistant to wear, biodegradable, and absorbs colors very well, so much so as to make them appear much brighter than natural ones. It is very often mixed with other fibers, such as cotton and polyester, to give the garments further peculiar characteristics, such as " elastane " and " spandex ", to ensure the right elasticity.

Since viscose has a natural origin, the fabrics with which they are made have a greater capacity to absorb moisture than other textile fibers. By preventing the formation of bacteria and the growth of dust mites, they are also often classified as hypoallergenic.

To ensure the total absence of toxic substances and minimize any problems of dermatitis or particular allergies, for its production and for dyeing operations, it is preferable to use Oeko-Tex Standard certified yarns, from producers observing the Reach regulation, preferably with wood from FSC or PEFC certified forests, which guarantee the commitment of technical, plant, management and control solutions, for a high level of environmental protection.

In recent decades, viscose is increasingly mixed with polyester, to offer additional exciting characteristics, especially in the technical and tactile fields. The products thus lose that "synthetic" aspect and at the same time acquire a discreet softness.

For viscose washes we always recommend the use of programs for delicate garments at a low temperature, without spinning and with liquid detergents, never aggressive.

Viscose garments dry quickly and, above all, hardly produce creases, lending themselves very well to the production of "no-iron" garments, which reduce time and effort.

Our VISCOSE PRODUCTS

Our company employs yarns of  viscose from vegetable cellulose , which is transformed and dyed "in yarn" in Italy (for greater uniformity and cleanliness of the color), based on our vast color chart or on specific customer needs.

FEATURES:

  • Produced with viscose yarn from vegetable cellulose (wood from FSC or PEFC certified forests), in various titrations and percentages of fiber (Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified products, from producers complying with the Reach regulation)

  • Availability of about 30 colors, in continuous expansion and possibility to develop other "sample"

  • Numerous standard or customized product sizes that can be created (depending on the type)

  • Specific periodic checks on all internal and external processing phases (by specialized personnel and control bodies), in particular in relation to the UNI-ISO standard for the detection of the main physical-chemical characteristics expected (dimensional stability, color fastness, PH, etc.)

COLOR CHARTS

The colors seen on the monitor are purely indicative. To get a correct response it is necessary to refer to our folders, for the chosen material.

PRODUCTIONS

PROCESSING

Our articles in viscose fibers  they can be produced in different percentages, titles, heights and colors (according to our folder or according to the Customer's precise recipe), with ample freedom of processing and weight (gross grain, canvas, herringbone, tubular, braided), in the same color plain, striped, jacquard, tubular, wide-narrow, etc.

After a rapid prototyping phase, with the development of a «master» article, the industrialization phase follows, with our high production capacity.

QUALITY

All our products in viscose fibers  are subjected to:

to the most careful and punctual checks from the origin of the raw materials (through the use of only OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS, RCS, etc. Quality controls on all internal and external processes (according to the most stringent regulations: UNI-ISO, etc.), under examination by highly recognized conventioned laboratories.

WARRANTIES

On all our viscose products  it is possible to agree in advance the release of:

Product Technical Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets of the materials used, Declarations of Conformity, Certificates of Origin of the goods, Analysis with the possible release of Certification by a competent Body, Transaction Certificates for recycled raw materials, Reports of any kind, compliance with specifications and RLS (Restricted Substances List) of Customers with confidentiality contracts, etc.
